Patty Felker is the President of Noteworthy Christian Music (ASCAP), and is the creative force behind the organization.

Her experience with music began in early childhood: performing classical piano, accompanying her high school chorus, playing piano in jazz band, flute in marching band, and guitar with her church youth group. She is presently a member of the Brooks Avenue Church of Christ Praise Band in Raleigh, NC.

Only in recent years did Patty begin composing music. From a simple prayer, Patty received an outpouring of music producing a large collection of Contemporary Christian, Inspirational, Hymns, Choral works, Dramatic pieces, and Instrumentals.

Her music has been performed by church choirs, and groups such as Hope’s Calling. Her song "He’s Lifting Me" was selected by the International Library of Poetry anthology "The Colors of Life" (Jan 2004), plus Sounds of Poetry, a collection of the spoken word, (Dec 2003). Her song State Of Grace was sung at the American Bible College 2003 commencement, and was featured in the International Library of Poetry's anthology "The Best Poems and Poets of 2003" (May 2004). She was a finalist in Embassy Music's The Ultimate Talent Search & Seminars songwriting contest, with her song "We Bow Down". Patty was nominated for Poet of the Year for 2004.

She has worked with her songwriting coach, Shay Watson (formerly of Embassy Music, Nashville, TN), various singers in the Raleigh/Durham area including Hope’s Calling, Bob Conolty (Apex Records), and Ken and Tammy Michal (K & T Music) of Live Oak, FL. She is currently co-writing with poet Vivian Moore. She is currently working with a hot new talent out of the Atlanta area, Christiana Rachel.

That Patty's music can cross generational lines, and be enthusiastically embraced by people of three generations, is a testament to the universal appeal of her music, based on solid, scriptural themes and beautiful melodies.

Patty relies on the verse, “He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.” Phil 4:16. Her desire is that God’s church worldwide be strengthened and encouraged by her music.
